We know that about 90 percent of our behaviour is based on habits (which we have learned over time), and we also know that these habits are very difficult to change.

We accompany and support you in this challenge. Every relationship starts with getting to know each other, and our coaching relationship begins with a 30 min “coffee coaching session”.

In getting to know each other, we reach an agreement on your coaching goals and clarify the following key points:

What new behaviours make the biggest positive changes for you and what do you find the most fulfilment?

Who are the key people in your area (for example, your family, partners, friends and so on) who can determine whether the desired changes have occurred after an agreed period of time?

When we help individuals and teams change their behaviour, we begin by identifying predispositions and subconscious patterns of thought or habit.

At Fit for the Future we recognise and understand that there is no good or bad – and we underscore this with you, too!

We consider every human being to be an imaginative and unique individual or, in team work, a unique collective and wonderful system.

This is why it is just key for us to convince you to accept your uniqueness, and to use and honour your resources. In this way, you are able to develop a deep self-confidence and learn to practice self-direction.

The Enneagram is a map of human nature. It can be seen as a set of 9 distinct personality types with each number on the Enneagram denoting one type. This is a framework that offers in-depth insight for both individuals and teams by providing a rich map to personal development. . It is a valuable conduit to exciting self-discovery and profound self-awareness. By harnessing the awareness that the Enneagram brings to our personality traits, patterns, drivers and responses, we become more in tune, supportive and nurturing of our unique selves.

These creative tools which use visual cards photos, music and mindfulness were originally developed by training for development company, Points of You  to enhance insight, find solutions and deepen learning.

As an expert in the Points of You Methodology, Fit for the Future teaches an exclusive technique of photo observation which enables individuals to gain new points of view.

Visual cards such as “The Coaching Game” and “Punctum” enable a process that encourages reflection of thoughts and insights into a specific topic and encourages individuals to tell their own story. Another feature of creative tools are the “Layout Charts” in which individuals can map their thoughts and feelings with a tailor-made, one-on-one, coaching tool for self-exploration.

Developed by Dr Melanie Salmon, a South African general practitioner and gestalt therapist, the methodology. uses several different disciplines from neuroscience to focused intention and neuroplasticity among others.

Fit for the Future is a QEC coach and supervisor. Together the QEC practitioner and the individual work closely to guide the individual in choosing new thought patterns and behaviours to replace negative limiting ones. These are then installed in the subconscious mind using a specific body position. The individual remains fully conscious at all times through the quick, simple and easy process. Once the new beliefs are embedded, they remain and the individual experiences profound change.

Developed by Dr. David Berceli, PhD, an international expert in the areas of trauma intervention and conflict resolution, TRE® is an innovative yet simple series of exercises that assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension and trauma.

TRE® safely activates a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or vibrating that releases muscular tension and calms down the nervous system, returning the mind back to a state of balance. Once learned, TRE® can be used as needed throughout one’s entire life.

As a certified practitioner of TRE® , Fit for the Future is able to lead individuals step-by-step through each of the simple pre-exercises and stretches. At all stages, the individual remains safe and is gently guided to ensure that they are self-empowered and self-adjusting throughout the exercises, working to comfortable level.

Each session concludes with a debriefing, at which time the individual will be able to share their experiences and discuss their on-going use of TRE®.

To enjoy the great benefits of TRE®, we encourage individuals to maintain their own regular practice. The recommended frequency, while dependent on each individual case, is generally two to three times per week, for a 15-to-20-minute tremoring / shaking process.
